Resilient thinking is about considering and finding ways to overcome impacts and to meet the challenges that risks throw at us. In this chapter, we consider the issues related to some core risk problems – we’re also going to review some ideas about the stasis of thought that we need to overcome to be effective. The need to face problems and to be able to come up with solutions is without doubt a challenge; but responding to problems does need that thinking approach.
