Abstract
The development of IPV6 and cloud computing has led to organizations and users employing the cloud for storing all kinds of information, including private data. Data privacy-related subjects are hotly contested because data is vital for research and has to be shared with sources that may be unknown or known. Therefore it is necessary to classify the sensitive attributes and securely store them in the cloud reducing the storage cost. The present encryption of cloud data is inefficient in terms of time consumption and cost. For data related to social media and health documentation, the major consideration is to protect the data’s privacy. This is because, if the record owner’s identity is unknown, the data would not be useful for any attacker. For efficient storage of all the attributes in the record, vertical partitioning is typically used wherein records are split vertically and connected by a common identifier such that none of the individually stored partitions can undo the privacy of the data. This work focused on a novel EPP-Attribute Classification. The method uses the concept of vertical partitioning to classify and store the sensitive attributes of the electronic health records across multiple locations increasing ...
