So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Base Solaris Software
Batch jobs that are launched by LSF run as user level processes in the timesharing scheduling class. As such, the priority that these jobs run at can be adjusted using the Solaris nice(1) command. However, it is not necessary to assign different nice levels to different batch jobs, since batch jobs can be placed in different priority batch queues. The LSF software launches the batch job based on its batch queue priority and can suspend a running job if a higher priority job is waiting or if the batch job is using more than its allotted resources.
