You might find yourself longing for your parents’ or grandparents’ generation.

When you go to the airport, the golf course, or restaurants, they are there en masse, looking tan, relaxed, and well dressed. They’re enjoying retirement. Yet many of today’s seniors didn’t have to do nearly the thinking about retirement saving and investing that you must do while you are still working.

This hit me a couple years ago when I took my father to see a Bill Cosby performance in Minneapolis. We were in a huge theater, and the audience was a mass of gray and white hair.
