Measuring Inputs and Indicators

The first of the different types of data presented in this book, briefly described in Chapter 2, is presented in this chapter. Inputs and indicators are the first step in capturing data for meetings and events evaluations. For some meeting and event planners, this is the principal source of data collected. For example, reports published by various magazines and associations in the industry, including MPI and PCMA, are dominated with this type of data.
