Measuring Application and Implementation
Some meetings and events are designed to drive action, and they often fail because of breakdowns in application. Participants just do not use what they learned in the meeting, when they should, or at the expected level of performance. Without successful implementation, changes in business impact will not occur. Measuring application and implementation is important to understand the success or lack of success. Data collection methods—such as questionnaires and action planning—are available to measure the application. Along with describing data collection, this chapter addresses the challenges and benefits with this level of evaluation.
