In this Revit Architecture - Building a House training course, expert author Tim Dundr teaches you the basics of using Revit to create a residential house. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous experience with Revit is required.
You will start by learning how to set up a new project in Revit and establish building fundamentals such as levels, grids, and columns. From there, Tim will teach you how to create exterior walls, foundation walls, footings, and interior walls. This video tutorial also covers creating doors, windows, openings, floors, stairs, and railings. You will also learn how to create a roof and place a ceiling and ceiling fixtures. Tim will teach you how to create interior designs such as kitchen and bathroom layouts. You will then learn to create exterior site elements such as topography, drive and walkways, exterior stairs, and a backyard deck. Finally, you will learn to annotate your projects with detailing, documentation, and walkthrough presentations.
Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of creating your own architectural building projects using the tools and concepts available to you in Revit. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.
