How to use this book

The RIBA Job Book can be used either on its own or in tandem with the companion website architecture.com/RIBAJobBook, from which you can download editable electronic documents related to the book, free of charge.

To use these templates safely and as intended, it is important to refer to the introductory and supplemental guidance and background notes in the book. The templates can be used in conjunction with those included in the RIBA Quality Management Toolkit, which is free to use for RIBA Chartered Practices.

The book follows the stages of the RIBA Plan of Work (reproduced on pages 4 to 5).
