The IDE’s Update Center wizard lets the user update the IDE’s installed modules. When the user runs the Update Center wizard to connect to an update center, the IDE checks if there are new modules or new versions of already installed modules available. If new or updated modules are available, the user can select, download, and install them. You can incorporate this functionality from the IDE into your own application based on the NetBeans Platform.
