4.1 Rating the Extent of Potential Harm/Damage

It is impossible to suggest that there is just one correct method for rating potential harm. While we have produced some very detailed notes in the previous chapters, it is still primarily a subjective exercise to allocate some form of rating to all the different elements that constitute a “risk” to the business. In addition, anyone who wants to see that such an evaluation has been carried out will come with their own set of objective and subjective measures against which to validate your version. Having said that, it is valid to produce an evaluation of risks based on the following:
