Legal, Compliance, and Reputational Risks

Legal, compliance, and reputational risks are critically important to manage for any organization to manage and especially for a nonprofit. While legal and compliance may often be considered simply mandatory, reputational issues can often be what makes or breaks a nonprofit. A nonprofit relies on its reputation to build its relationships with virtually all of its major stakeholders. Volunteers and benefactors in particular will flee if reputation of the nonprofit is not stellar.
