Risk Governance

Just like many of you, we enjoy traveling by car during our vacations as a family. We feel more flexible when compared to a bus tour. Depending on the length of the trip, we frequently exchange seats; however, I am usually the one who drives the car. I drive the car, but this does not necessarily mean that we go to the places I decide. All family members make the decisions together, usually with consensus. Our simple family tradition can teach us the difference between management and governance: driving the car is management, whereas deciding where to go and monitoring the performance of the driver is governance.
