The Finder Windows
The Finder windows display all the contents of your hard disk and other removable disks you might put in your computer. Learning how to “navigate” your way around the windows is one of the most important skills you can learn. There are three “views,” or different ways you can see the contents of a window, as shown in the examples below. Choose the view you feel the most comfortable with.
To learn all about finding your way around and controlling and customizing your windows, see Chapter 6.
Click the “Back” or “Forward” button to go back and forth to windows you’ve been looking at. Click one of the views in the View button to change the way the window displays the files.
This is the Icon View for my “Home” folder.
