Using the Print Center

The Print Center just works away without you having to do anything about it until you have a problem. Or until you decide you want to do something like get a bunch of documents ready to print so you can go to lunch and have them all print while you’re gone. Generally, when you are in your application and choose to print, the Mac opens the Print Center (you’ll see it appear in the Dock) and it does its business; when it’s done, the Print Center disappears from the Dock and you never have to worry about it. But there are a number of things you can do in the Print Center, should you find the need. If the Print Center is not in the Dock and you need it, follow the steps below to open it directly.
