So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Finding Information on the Web with Sherlock
Sherlock is an incredible feature. It’s not on the Internet—it’s on your Mac, and you can see its icon in your Dock.
Using Sherlock, you can find shopping bargains on the web, track your stocks, get the latest news, research your favorite topics, find out what time the local movie starts, get products and support from Apple, look up defi nitions and synonyms and spellings of words, and much more. It’s not a complete replacement for the search tools you find on the web itself, but it can provide a quick and easy way to locate many things. I’m going to show you a few of Sherlock’s features, and you’ll have fun exploring it further.
