Chapter 33. Chat with iChat
If you’ve ever used a chat program or “instant messaging” program such as AOL Instant Messenger or ICQ, you’ll figure out how to use iChat in about four seconds. If you’ve never used a chat program, it will take you about one whole minute.
With Apple’s iChat you can have private written conversations over the Internet with people who already have a .Mac account or an AIM or AOL account; it is not compatible with MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, IRC, Jabber, or ICQ (although it will soon be compatible with ICQ).
