Chapter 35. Sharing Files between Several Macs

This chapter is only for you if you have more than one Mac in the same house or small office. If you do have more than one Mac, it is incredibly easy—in fact, it’s so easy it’s spooky—to share files between Macs. You can just drag a file onto the other computer’s window, right there on your own Desktop. Or you can set it up so each person can get to the other person’s entire hard disk. This works even if the other Macs are not using Mac OS X. If all the connected Macs use Jaguar, it’s even easier to send files back and forth through Rendezvous. And if you have a Windows machine on your network, you can even share files with that computer as well!
