Personal Web Sharing

One way you can share files with anyone in the world over the Internet is through the Personal Web Sharing feature on your Mac: In the Sites folder (which is in your Home window) you can place web pages, whole web sites, QuickTime movies, documents of any sort, and folders. From any computer, someone can use a web browser to access these special shared folders on your Mac. Depending on the quality and speed of your Internet connection, Web Sharing can function as a local area network or as an easy way to share files across the Internet or within a corporate intranet.
