The Mezhdunarodnaya assotsiatsiya russkogo yazyka i literatury is an international association of Russian language and literature teachers whose purpose is to disseminate the Russian language abroad. It was founded in 1967 at an international conference on Russian as a foreign language in Paris, France.

The MAPRYaL is currently present in seventy countries and has a worldwide network of associate members.
