Germany is a noteworthy case for the study of strategic culture because of the radical cultural change the nation has undergone in the past century. The unique situation Germany finds itself in has provided no shortage of books and articles addressing aspects of the nation’s strategic culture, even when this literature is not explicitly focused on the concept of “strategic culture” itself.
