So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Chcemy poznać i dostosować do własnych potrzeb reguły automatycznego tworzenia liczby mnogiej rzeczowników, obowiązujące w środowisku Rails.
Rozwiązanie
Mechanizm pluralizacji środowiska Rails można wykorzystywać w dowolnej części aplikacji, jednak biblioteka ActiveRecord to jedyny istotny element środowiska Rails, w którym pluralizacja jest wykonywana automatycznie. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, w przypadku użycia biblioteki ActiveRecord nazwy tabel powinny być podane w postaci rzeczowników w liczbie mnogiej, natomiast odpowiadające im klasy powinny być odpowiednikami tych rzeczowników w liczbie pojedynczej.
A zatem nazwy klas modelu zawsze powinny być rzeczownikami w liczbie pojedynczej. Środowisko Rails ...
