Before installing ESXi, you will first need to acquire a Pi and a few auxiliary components. While it’s certainly possible to put a kit together for as little as $55, a very usable system with a case and power supply will run you closer to $220. All these kits use a CanaKit Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Quad Core 64 for the build. I have found very little price difference between distributors for the Pi.
