Windows Vista is a big, sprawling, complex operating system. You can get by just fine by skimming its surface, just like you can with a Mac, but Windows has even more nooks and crannies.

And if you’re running Windows on the Mac, there are several advanced aspects that are crucial to understand. They include getting your Windows system onto the Internet and creating a home network; installing and removing programs; updating Windows; and most importantly, protecting yourself against malicious programs like viruses, spyware, worms, and Trojans.
