Abstract
Building large-scale software and cyber-physical systems is one of the most complex and challenging endeavors in industry today. Systems builders must continuously align on “what, exactly, is this thing we are building?” as well as on “how are we going to build it?” They need sufficient and timely knowledge and decisions with respect to both questions.
