What is configuration anyway? In tech speak, configuration covers a range of activities, but generally refers to the arrangement of components in a system. It includes setting up certain features, customizing them, and defining parameters and values. The goal is twofold:
- To successfully customize a system that aligns with its users’ needs while keeping ease-of-use (adoption) and scalability in mind
- To establish and maintain the integrity of the system and the data within it
