Chapter 17. Menus and Visual Basic
When you go to a restaurant for the first time, you don't know what to order until the menu arrives. When users use your application, they need a menu so they will know what to order also. Just like a restaurant's customers, your application's new users won't know what they can do. The menu gives them a guide. After they become more familiar with the application, they will also learn various shortcut keys you supply on the menu bar.
