Getting Incoming Mail with <CFPOP>
The powerful companion tag to <CFMAIL> is <CFPOP>, which works on the receiving end to enable users to view and manage incoming email from a ColdFusion template page. <CFPOP> works its magic by acting like a mail client using the POP3 mail protocol, and can be customized to take advantage of many features available to POP3 users.
POP3 stands for Post Office Protocol, a common Internet standard used to retrieve email.
