To decide how to complete your application, it's necessary to first consider the last element—the point at which the order is placed, or the transaction. Transaction methods range from secure Web forms that accept customer billing information and automatically set up product delivery, to less technical methods such as fax-back or call-back orders. Sites that employ the latter might lack flexibility and customer convenience, but they can still be sufficient to suit smaller budgets or sites that sell only a few, inexpensive products.
