Adding Transactional Support to Your Components
On Day 7, "Database Transactions and Distributed Transaction Coordinator," you learned about database transactions and the part the Distributed Transaction Coordinator (DTC) plays in transactions. You had an opportunity to work with the Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) on Day 8, "Introduction to COM and MTS." Now you will leverage that knowledge by adding transactional support to your components and enabling your components to take advantage of everything that MTS offers.
