Deploying Your Controls to the Internet
You have created an ActiveX control, and now the challenge is to send it out to the people who will be using it. Although the ActiveX control is a program, it is not something that you have to install on clients before they use it. With the Internet, you can place a tag on a Web page, which will cause a browser that supports ActiveX controls to check to see if the control is already on the client's system. If it is not, the tag will automati cally download the new control.
