HTML–The Basics
A friend of mine introduced me to the World Wide Web in the fall of 1994. In January of 1995, I opened my first Internet account, and I have been surfing the Web and posting content ever since. The one thing I remember about going on the Web is that so many of the Web pages were "gray." That used to be the default background color for the browsers. This can be very plain and very boring. In the same way, the content was plain as well. It was static, text-based content that changed when Webmasters found time to do it. Over time, this has all changed, allowing dynamic Web sites to take their place. This was accomplished in part by implementing technologies like those in Windows DNA.
