Searching the Online Book Database

The main page contains a link to the mechanism that searches the book database, which is to Searchdata.html. That file appears in Listing 21.2.

The search mechanism uses JScript code to perform the search, rather than XSL templates. JScript is the Microsoft equivalent of the JavaScript language, which was created by Netscape. While there are some differences between the two, they're essentially the same. If you know JavaScript, you know JScript.
