Appendix B. Customizing Dreamweaver

The Dreamweaver API (Application Programming Interface) provides developers with the power to extend Dreamweaver's capabilities. A thorough understanding of HTML and JavaScript are required to develop custom behavior actions, floating panels, data translators, and other extensions. However, Dreamweaver enables all developers to create custom objects, customize the Insert bar, and create new commands.
