Creating an Image
Now that you've been introduced to the Fireworks interface, you can create a new image from scratch, such as a button graphic that you can use in your Web site. First you create a new file, and then you add some color and text. Next, you apply an effect to make it look more realistic. To create a new file
1. | Select the New command under the File menu. |
2. | The New Document dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 7.4. You set the width, height, and resolution of your new file in this dialog box. Enter 70 pixels for the width and 26 pixels for the height. The resolution should be 72 because that is the standard resolution for images that will be displayed on a computer screen.
