Chapter 17. Working with Dreamweaver MX
Fireworks is the perfect complement to Dreamweaver for working with Web page layouts. You can export code from Fireworks, edit it in Dreamweaver, and return it to Fireworks to edit graphics or slices for the page at any time, using the Roundtrip editing features. The integration between the applications is such that you can even change Fireworks-generated HTML code and JavaScript within the Dreamweaver interface, or edit individual button graphics or image slices from Dreamweaver by using Fireworks. Layouts created in Fireworks can be turned into Dreamweaver templates very easily, and pages on a site can be updated through Dreamweaver’s site-publishing tools.
