WebLogic Constituents and Directory Structure

After installing and configuring your domain server, the following directories are present in your BEA home:

  • jdk131 (present in Windows installations and Unix installations done with a .bin file) — This contains the directory jdk131, which is used by the WebLogic application server.

  • logs— This directory contains the log maintained by WebLogic mentioning the time of WebLogic installation. The rest of the logs are maintained in directories that are specified in the Administration Console for each of the domains.

  • user_domains— This directory contains the files and directories created for your domain through the configuration wizard.
