After you master worksheet-editing skills, you are then ready to see how Excel's AutoCorrect feature works to improve the accuracy of your worksheets. Excel is smart and can even enter cell values for you. When you ask Excel to fill in a series of cell values, it uses some intuitive guesswork to complete any series that you begin. If you often enter a special series of numbers or labels, you can teach Excel to recognize that series. This feature eliminates typing when you use the series again.
