Learning and Customizing the Edit Entry Screen
Most of the work you do in Movable Type will be in the Edit Entry screen. As a result, it makes sense to ensure that this screen is configured and optimized for your needs.
Fortunately, Movable Type provides you with three options for viewing this screen:
Basic view. The Basic view is a pared-down version of the screen, with only entry-specific options available. This view is excellent for power users, as you can get right in, write your entry, and have the basic tools at your disposal.
Advanced view. The Advanced view offers a range of entry options. This view is helpful when you want better control over how you edit your entries than is available with the Basic view.
