Back in Hours 14, (“Getting Started with Comments”) through 17, (“Doing More with TrackBack”), we kept running across the topic of comment and TrackBack spam, comments or pings that link back to some other site to increase its popularity and aren't in response to anything on your site. This kind of spam can go from being a nuisance to being a serious problem for your Web site very quickly.
