Other Types of Metadata

Other types of metadata are available as well (as shown in Figure 9.4) and are also available from the Add Column page (referenced as fldNew.aspx in the URL). These are described here, and although some are pretty self-explanatory, such as Date and Time, others require some more explanation and some experimentation to use properly.

  • Date and Time— You can choose to only have the date entered or the date and the time. This field can default to today's date and time, a specific date, or a calculated value (such as 30 days in the future).
