Using the Clipboard
You can transfer the contents of SAP fields (and in some cases, the entire contents of an SAP screen) onto your Windows Clipboard and then paste the data into other SAP fields, or into other applications like Word and Excel.
Moving Data
To select a field or the text you want to move, perform the following steps:
1. | Click and drag the pointer over the text you want to select. The selected text then appears highlighted.

2. | To move the information in an input field onto the Windows Clipboard, use the keyboard combination Ctrl+X. The selected text no longer appears and is now stored in your Windows Clipboard.
