Hour 8Putting Graphics on a Web Page

In Hour 7, “Creating Your Own Web Page Graphics,” you learned how to make digital images for your web pages, both still and animated. This hour shows you how easy it is to put those graphics on your pages with HTML. Fortunately, there is nothing special you have to do to place an animated image on a web page, as compared to a still image.

Try It Yourself

You should get two or three images ready now so that you can try putting them on your own pages as you follow along with this hour. If you have some image files already saved in the GIF, PNG, or JPEG format (the filenames will end in .gif, .png, or .jpg), use those. It’s also fine to use any graphics you created while reading the preceding lesson.
