The Vital Role of Text in Tumblogs
In contrast to most blogging software, Tumblr is great for all sorts of multimedia. However, text is still crucial to most tumblogs. Creating interesting, fun, and useful text posts is crucial to making your tumblog interesting. Even photoblogs, for instance, benefit from a few well-chosen words accompanying each photo. (Many photoblogs and illustrations in tumblogs have text integrated into them graphically.)
This lesson also describes some of the fields that are common to all posts: instantaneous or delayed publishing, tags, and custom post URLs.
