Chat posts are pretty specialized, even for Tumblr, with its many kinds of posts, all equally available from the top level. A chat post is a post in which two or more people or characters exchange comments. Tumblr automatically formats the comments from the different “speakers” distinctively, so that it’s visually easy to pick up who’s “speaking” with a given comment.
