Using Audio Clips in Tumblogs
Tumblr has a liberal policy on MP3 files. You can freely upload one MP3 file a day to Tumblr, up to 10MB in size, and Tumblr will host them for you. A typical three-minute song is about 3 minutes long, so 10MB is plenty for a typical song, but not for a 15-minute monster such as the famous In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by 60’s rock band Iron Butterfly. Many other sites either refuse to host audio files at all, limit uploads much more sharply, or charge for the privilege.
