As you might have gathered from Lesson 2, the folks at Foursquare know that you won’t get a lot out of the service unless you have friends to share it with—so they encourage you to start adding friends right away. It’s a good plan, but let’s say you skipped that step or you want to add more friends later. How can you add friends to your network? There are a few basic ways to pull it off:

• Adding from Facebook

• Adding from Twitter

• Adding from Gmail contacts
