In this hour, you learn the details of the Activity life cycle and the relationship between Fragments and Activities. We explain Fragments in detail and show how to incorporate them into Google TV apps. Fragments make it easier to create sophisticated user interfaces. We’ll use two Fragments in an Activity to understand the fundamentals of how they work. Then we’ll create an app with more complex navigation using Fragments and an ActionBar.
