I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Berkeley Remote Utilities
The Berkeley Systems Design (BSD) Unix implementation, known as BSD Unix, was a major step in Unix’s development. Many innovations that began with BSD Unix are now standard on other Unix systems and have been incorporated into other operating systems in the world of TCP/IP and the Internet.
One of the innovations of BSD Unix was a small set of command-line utilities designed to provide remote access. This set of utilities became known as the Berkeley r* utilities, because the name of each utility begins with an r for remote.
