Ah, school days. Or were those school daze? It’s all a little foggy. Years later, though, here I am again, going through school—only this time through my children’s eyes.

Man, are things ever different. For one thing, my daughter is learning things in sixth grade math that I was taught in ninth grade. But that’s beside the point, really. Learning today isn’t done the way it was when I was a boy (a phrase I promised myself back then that I would never use).
