People who use the Internet have one universal thing in common: They all use a computer with access to the Internet. So it’s no surprise that computer programs and files are the most common “things” you can acquire through the Internet. You can find online all kinds of Internet software, other kinds of programs (like games or word processors), documents (such as books or articles), and other useful files such as utilities and plug-ins. Once you locate the items you want using search engines, you’ll be ready to download those files and prepare those files to use on your computer.
